Dr Simon Nery.

B.D.S. LDSRCS (Eng) F.D.S.R.C.S. (Eng) M.S.c (with distinction, University of Newcastle) M.R.D.  R.C.S. (Edin).

Dr Nery was born in London and qualified from Cardiff Dental School in 1988. He undertook various post-graduate positions within UK Dental Hospitals during the next 6 years, and was awarded Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons in Dental Surgery in 1992, and a Masters with distinction in restorative dentistry from Newcastle Dental Hospital in 1993. He was awarded membership of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in restorative dentistry in 1994, and is registered as a specialist in prosthodontics with the General Dental Council.

He currently is a part time clinical lecturer i restorative dentistry at The Royal London Dental Hospital, and an examiner for the General Dental Councils overseas registration examination. He also acts as an expert witness for medico-legal cases involving dental care.

Dr Nery has continued to attend many courses, both nationally and internationally, on various aspects of advanced high quality restorative dentistry, and has a special interest in cosmetic dental procedures and the ever growing field of dental implantology. He welcomes all anxious clients, and is able to provide excellent dental care for all patients, working with his dental sedation colleague Dr Omar when necessary.

At present he is attending an eighteen months academic and clinical postgraduate course leading to a diploma in implantology from the Royal College of Surgeons, London. This additional qualificationis currently consideredto be the gold standard in postgraduate training in implant dentistry.

There are many dentists who can provide patients with dental implants but there are only a few who are trained to such a high level. This implant qualification demonstrates an advanced level of training on bone grafting, tissue regeneration and detailed implant procedures. You can be assured that Dr Nery will continue to maintain his current levels of expertise and further his knowledge.

Nr Nery is keen to help patients achieve the confidence and function they may have previously lost following tooth loss which can be far more debilitation that most people realise. He takes great pride and professional satisfaction from providing outstanding clinical results at the end of any treatment, and in making the whole process as convenient and comfortable as possible by combining the latest technology with the gentlest human touch.

Dr Pieter Labuschagne

Anaesthesist and specialist in dental sedation

Dr Labuschange has more than 30 years of extensive experience as a general medical practitioner as well as a sedationist at universities and in both NHS and private dental sedation referral clinics in various areas of South Africa and in the United Kingdom. He is also a prominent lecturer to dental and medical practitioners on subjects of sedation in several Universities in Great Britain. Dr Labuschagne has performed more than 17000 sedations to date, varying from ultra short bolus dose sedations up to 7 hour sedations.
